Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, CEO, Lincoln University College (LUC), Malaysia and Prof. Datuk Dr. Hjh. Bibi Florina Bin Abdullah, Pro-Chancellor, LUC, Malaysia graced the event with his presence at the 5th Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest) on July 10 & 11, 2022.
The 5th MIFFest, which is a public exhibition showcasing international and local films in Malaysia, is being organised from July 10 to 15, 2022. The international event has been endorsed by the Faculty of Performing Arts, Film and Digital Media, Lincoln University College, Malaysia.
In recent years, Malaysia has witnessed a series of outstanding film productions, with directors, actors, writers, and other filmmakers making a name for themselves overseas. This has inspired many film lovers to explore such a program.
The MIFFest has added value as well as opened up a lot of space, not only to create the first MIFFest Project Market but also to open the MIFFest Academy. The new MIFFest Academy’s main goal is to help the local film industry’s talented people grow.
A MoU signing ceremony was also completed at the event.
