Department of Social Work, University of Punjab organised 1st International Social Work Conference on Contemporary Social Work Education & Practices: Challenges & Prospects on 2nd & 3rd February, 2021. Prof. Dr. Zulkarnain Ahmad Hatta, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Law, Lincoln University College, Malaysia was invited as one of the international speakers for the event.
The conference aimed to bring together eminent social work professionals, researchers, academicians and practitioners to interact and exchange their experiences and researches on different aspects of social work particularly challenges and prospects. The findings of the conference have been expected to be helpful in devising a strategic plan for the expansion, recognition, and professionalization of social work in Pakistan.
