Lincoln University College Takes Part in Mass CPR Program

A Mass CPR Program was organized at Mydin Mall, Tunjong, Kota Bharu, Malaysia by the Emergency Medical & Trauma Association of HRPZII Kelantan on July 27, 2024.

LUC Participation: Lincoln University College, Malaysia, along with other NGOs in the country, was invited to join the event. From LUC, a total of 13 students from Batch 11 (Year 4) participated in the program.

Program Objective:

· Raise awareness about the importance of CPR.

· Provide early first aid training to participants.

· Equip individuals with the skills to potentially save lives.

· Address the high mortality rate due to cardiovascular disease in Malaysia.

Valuable Outcomes:

· Students from various organizations participated in effective CPR training.

· Participants were instructed and guided by Saint John Ambulance, the Red Crescent Society, members of the Emergency Department at University Science Hospital, and the Fire and Malaysian Civil Defense Force departments.

· Lincoln University College supported the activity organized by EMTRAk by donating a sum of RM 500.
