Lincoln University College and University of Misrata Strengthen Ties through Joint Academic Cooperation Agreement

In the framework of expanding cooperation between Malaysian and Libyan universities, a meeting was coordinated between Lincoln University College (LUC), Malaysia and University of Misrata, Lybia under the supervision of the academic division of the Libyan Embassy. The meeting took place on September 18, 2024 at the LUC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.

Representing LUC were Dr. Rashid Abdul Salam, Dean, Faculty of Dentistry, along with the administrative team of the Dental College. From the University of Misrata, the President, Dr. Muhammad Dunfour, and Dr. Mohammed bin Gharasa, Director, International Cooperation Office, along with their delegation, were present. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Iman al-Mahmoudi, the academic liaison.

The meet up focused on key cooperation programs between both the institutions. These included joint Master’s programs in dentistry and oral surgery, as well as the exchange of experts and specialists for collaborative research and academic projects.

In conclusion, both parties agreed on a proposed cooperation agreement, which will be overseen and monitored by the academic division of the Libyan Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
