Greetings from Malaysian Dental Association. Today I have the honour to be invited as a Keynote Speaker at the 3rd LUC DENTAL RESEARCH COLLOQUIUM 2020. I sincerely hope that my lecture, and together with the theme of the event, “Enlightening Young Minds Through Research Experience”, will inspire these young Dental practitioners in the making to continuously harnest the power of research knowledge, and to bridge the gap between research and clinical practice. I wish to congratulate Prof Dr Rahimah Abdul Kadir, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, for another successful event and most of all for once again empowering the students to take full responsibility in organising this event for themselves. I am glad to witness the passion shown in these students who presented their papers (oral and poster), and also showing off their skills and talents in photography/videography and infographic competition. I also have the privilege to be given a tour of the facility at the faculty for the very first time. Thumbs up for a well equipped facility, truly nothing but the best and I must say the students are so fortunate to be part of their LUC family. I wish the whole academia of LUC Faculty of Dentistry to continue to strive for the best and train up Dental Practitioners who truly holdup the the 6 core values of the Faculty.
