Asian Research Institute for International Social Work (ARIISW), Shukutoku University in Chiba, Japan has organised a webinar on ‘Decolonization, Indigenization, and Buddhist Social Work: Spirituality, Social Work Academics Resisting the Globalization of Western-rooted Social Work’ on 18th & 19th February, 2021.
Partnering with the University of Johannesburg, the webinar was co-organised by Japanese Association for Social Work Education (JASWE), Asian and Pacific Association for Social Work Education (APASWE), Association for Schools of Social Work in Africa (ASSWA) and International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW).
The APASWE Session on Spirituality was scheduled on 19th February, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Kuala Lumpur (GMT+8). Prof. Dr. Zulkarnain Ahmad Hatta, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Law, Lincoln University College, Malaysia and President, Asian and Pacific Association for Social Work Education (APASWE) was the chairperson of the session.
