Bachelor of Early Childhood Education

The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education prepares graduates to work in both early childhood and primary educational contexts. The course structure provides a community and school-based approach to teacher education with substantial opportunities for students to pursue studies in early childhood education and primary school education.

Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements :

A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any two subjects or its equivalent; or
A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum Grade of Jayyid; or
A pass in Matriculation/ Foundation or its equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00; or
A Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Level 4, MQF) or its equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00; or
A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in any field or its equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00; or
Any relevant qualifications recognized by Malaysian government.

English Requirements :
International students must have proof of good proficiency in verbal and written English. For example, International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0 or its equivalent. If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPs must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme.
