Master of Pharmacy (By Research)

Master of Pharmacy (By Research), offered by Lincoln University College, provides the students a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of pharmacy, so that they are able to learn about the use as well as the mecha-nism of the varied types of drugs. Students are also taught about the new and advanced methods necessary for the formulation of design and interpreting of inves-tigations that are conducted.

Entry Requirements

  1. Bachelor of Pharmacy (Phase 6, the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MOF)) or equivalent in related field with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent thereto as adopted by the Senate PPT; or
  2. Bachelor of Pharmacy (Level 6, KKM) or equivalent in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and did not achieve a CGPA of 2.75, may be admitted by relying on rigorous internal evaluation; or
  3. Bachelor of Pharmacy (Level 6, KKM) or equivalent in a relevant field but did not achieve a CGPA of 2.50, may be admitted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant field.

International students must have proof of good proficiency in verbal and written English. For example, International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0 or its equivalent. If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPs must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme.
