Social work is a professional and academic discipline that describes the application of social theory and research methods to study and improve the lives of people, groups, and societies. It incorporates and utilizes other social sciences as a means to improve the human condition and positively change society’s response to chronic problems.
- Full Time: 1 Years 6 Months - 2 Years 6 Months
- Intake: January, May, September
Entry Requirements
- Bachelor (Level 6 Qualification Framework (MOF)) with honors in a relevant field or equivalent of University College Lincoln or other universities with a CGPA of at least 2.50; or
- Bachelor (Level 6 KKM) or equivalent not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years work experience in social work or other related fields; or
- For international students:
Lecture score of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 500, international English Language Test System (IELTS) 5.0 or other equivalent qualification for international students. If students do not meet these criteria, HEPs must offer English courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the program requirements.
