The students of Post Graduate Woundacare Management of Lincoln University College, Malaysia along with Madam Rosy binti Abdul Rashid, Coordinator attended ‘Asian & 3rd Global Wound Conference 2021 – Wound Wars May the Cure Be with You’ organized by the Malaysian Society of Wound Care Professional headed by the President Prof. Dr. Harikrishna K.R. Nair on December 3-5, 2021 at Sunway Pyramid Convention Center, Subang Jaya, Malaysia.
Madam Rosy binti Abdul Rashid delivered speech on Woundcare Education in Malaysia. She also received a certificate from YBhg. Khairy Jamaluddin, Minister of Health, Malaysia. Prof. Dr. Harikrishna K.R. Nair delivered keynote speech.
The conference has brought insight into widening the knowledge of woundcare as a whole. The objective of the conference was to discuss and collaborate on recent scientific findings in the hope of improving the management of complex chronic wounds as quoted by the organising chairman Prof. Dr. Harikrishna K.R. Nair. The conference was organised in hybrid mode with more than 50 speakers from all over the world and 15 speakers from Malaysia. In this event, the Woundcare Society distributed woundcare kit of 4K RM each to different state representatives to offer free treatment to needy persons. The event was also witnessed by Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, President Lincoln University College, Malaysia.
