Bachelor of Nursing Sciences (Hons), offered by Lincoln University College, will help the students to acquire, theoretical as well as practical knowledge, regarding the diverse aspects of nursing and nursing practice. Our program of study includes both theoretical learning and practical training sessions. Our experienced teaching faculty emphasizes on the enhancement of advanced clinical skills as well as essential nursing skills. Thus our program of study, will prepare the students for a professional career in nursing.

Entry Requirements :

  1. Pass in Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
    For students in the Arts stream, it is necessary to obtain credit in Mathematics and Science at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level; or
  2. Pass in Matriculation with a minimum CGPA of 2.50; or
  3. Pass in Foundation program with a minimum CGPA of 3.00

Additional Qualification (Malaysian Students):

  1. Pass in Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

Additional Qualifications (International Students):

  1. Pass in lnternational English Language Testing Services (IELTS) with a minimum score of 5.5;
    or
  2. Pass in Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL) examination with a minimum of 550.

Health status:

  1. Students must pass a medical examination by a registered medical officer recognized by the institution.
  2. Free from infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, mental health problems, epilepsy and other chronic diseases.
  3. No physical disabilities and sensory problems that can interfere with manual efficiency.

Program Overview
What is the aim of the Bachelor of Nursing Sciences (Honours) program?

The Bachelor of Nursing Sciences (Honours) program is intended to produce professionals with capacity to assess, develop nursing diagnose recommend, plan and implement nursing care and to deploy the latest treatment and technologies related to medical treatment and nursing care for patients.

The program duration is 4 years (48 Months)

There are two (2) intakes in a year (January and July) 

Graduate will be able to provide holistic nursing care with managerial and entrepreneurship skills

Comprehensive principles, concepts, theories and technical knowledge, practical skills and processes in nursing practice.

The duration for the clinical practice (Practicum) in Bachelor of Nursing Sciences (Honours) program is 54 weeks in the four year (Program Duration).

If you fail the practicum, you will have to retake it in a future semester. The university will provide feedback and remedial support, such as additional mentorship to help you improve. Failing the practicum may extend your study period, and you can seek academic counselling for guidance on preparing for a retake. Consult your practicum coordinator for next steps.
