The faculty of Nursing organized a short course on “Teaching Strategies for 21st century.” 23 participants from Bhutan arrived on 5th July and they successfully completed the short course. The participants were teachers, leaders of autonomous schools and school support staffs. The certificate ceremony for the Bhutan participants was held on 15th July 2016 (Friday) at Mayang campus. Prof. Datuk Dr.Abdul Gani Bin Mohammed Din, DVC (Academic), Associate Prof. Datin Hafizah Che Hassan handed over the certificates to the participants.
A guest lecture on “Philosophy in Education from Buddhism perspective” was arranged by the faculty of Nursing. During the ceremony Bhutan guests and LUC staffs exchanged gifts among themselves. There was a guest performance by the Bhutan guest and host performance by LUC students. The presentation ended with a hi-tea reception.
