Lincoln University College received aministerial visit on 23rd May 2017. YB. Datuk Hj Talib Zulpilip, Minister in the Chief Minister’s office,(Intigriti & Ombudsman), Sarawak, paid a visit to Wisma Lincoln Campus.He was accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr.Bidin Chee Kifli, Malaysian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship, and Businessalong with Mr. Awang Mohammad Putra BinAwang Sopeion, Special Administrative Officer.
On arrival to the campus, the Minister waswelcomed by Pro-Chancellor of LUC, Prof. Datuk Dr. Hajjah Bibi Florina Abdullah. Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik,CEO and Vice Chancellor, LUC highlighted particular aspects of thefacilities provided in Lincoln, whilst explaining how it is providing aninnovative curriculum to fill the well recorded technical skills gaps which areneeded to drive the nation forward. During the visit, the Minister met Dato’ Mohd Yusoff A. Bakar DVC,Students Affairs and Internationalization, Mr. Raja Gopal Muthusamy DVC, Administrative, Datuk Dr. Marzukhi Bin Md Isa, Dean Faculty of Medicine, Haji Mansor Fenner, Academic Director.At the conclusionof the visit, the Minister was familiarized with Lincoln University College andhad discussions about the possibilities of collaborations between Sarawak andLincoln in regards with Masters and PhD programmes.
