Lincoln University College hosts visitors from Vietnam

Lincoln University College hostedMr.Nguyen Hai Ly, the First Secretary Officer of labor section, and Mr. NguyenQuang Son, The third Secretary Officer of Labor Section Embassy of TheSocialist Republic of Vietnam on 11th May 2017 at Lincoln KelanaJaya Learning Site.

The international visitorsvisited LUC to learn and discuss about collaborations and the bilateral skillbased trainings in the field of allied health science programs. LUC is always conceited to announce that it provides tailored skill based training to all its students. This meeting was chaired by Prof. Datuk Dr. Hajjah Bibi Florina Abdullah,Pro-Chancellor, LUC and Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, CEO and Vice Chancellor, LUC. Intheir words “LUC’s entire allied health programshelp the students achieve higher wages and opens up access to career paths inhealthcare. The Nursing, Medical, Dentistry, and Pharmacy programs offer aninitial contextualized curriculum followed by industry informed curriculum thatincorporates core competencies required for today’s healthcare workforce andprepares students to obtain full-time employment in the hospitals, communityhealth centres and private physician practices. The skill based training in thecurriculum also helps hospitals and clinics to meet the growing demand forlinguistically and culturally-competent candidates across the world.” Dato’ Mohd Yusoff A. Bakar DVC, Students Affairs,and Internationalization, Haji Mansor Fernner,Academic Director, Ms.Lina Tio, Regional Marketing Manager and Mr.Mohd Asri AbuBakar, Consultant TVET Programme, LUC were also present in the meeting.
