Lincoln University College (LUC), Malaysia has entered into an academic collaboration agreement with Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) in Kottayam, India on July 4, 2022. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard was signed by Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, President, LUC and B. Prakash Kumar, Registrar, MGU. MGU Vice Chancellor Sabu Thomas was also present on the occasion.
The signing of the MoU is in line with the latest norm by the University Grants Commission (UGC) permitting academic collaboration between Indian and foreign universities.
The primary objective of the programme will be to offer the students an opportunity to acquire multi-disciplinary education for an internationally relevant career. The courses will also include research projects with funding from scholarships, and students will have the opportunity to pursue projects with fellowships from universities abroad.
