Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, Founder & President, Lincoln University College, Malaysia, paid a visit to Xi’an Peihua University, China on October 23, 2023 for educational and collaborative exchange. The delegation held discussion with the school’s Chairman Jiang Bo, Party Secretary Luo Xinyuan, Vice President Liu Yuelian, Vice President Yu Guoliang, Dean of the School of Accounting and Finance Zhao Xingxuan, and Director of the International Exchange Center Wang Peng.
Dr. Bhaumik introduced the origin of the name of Lincoln University College in Malaysia and the general profile of the school to the participants, hoping to follow President Lincoln’s philosophy and popularize education. He also emphasized that Malaysia is willing to cooperate with Peihua and provide a platform for educational exchanges and scientific research.
The two parties participating in the meeting had in-depth exchanges of opinions on specific issues such as teachers’ exchange studies in Malaysia, requirements for doctoral studies, and employment in Malaysia. At the end of the meeting, both parties signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.
