Welcome to the School of Pharmacy and Traditional Complementary Medicine at Lincoln University College (LUC), Malaysia. The field of Traditional & Complementary Medicine (T&CM) encompasses various traditional healing systems that have been practiced for centuries. Among these, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) stand out for their holistic approach to health and well-being.
Homeopathy follows the principle of “like cures like,” using highly diluted remedies to stimulate self-healing. Ayurveda, originating in India, focuses on balancing the body’s energies (Doshas) through herbal medicine, diet, and lifestyle practices. TCM, based on Qi and Yin-Yang balance, incorporates acupuncture, herbal therapy, and mind-body practices.
At Lincoln University College, we integrate these traditional medicinal systems into our academic and research programs, promoting evidence-based learning and interdisciplinary healthcare.
