International Seminar on Recent Advances in Environment and Healthcare Management on 23rd January 2017

Lincoln University College (LUC) organized “International Seminar on Recent Advances in Environment and Healthcare Management”, on 23rd January 2017 at Kelana Jaya Learning Site. It started with welcome introductory address by Dr. Farhat Avin, the Organizing Secretary, who introduced Guest Speaker, Prof. Dr. Goutam Kumar Saha, Professor of Zoology from the University of Calcutta, India. Prof .Dr. Goutam Kumar Saha deliberated on a topic entitled “Dust Mite Allergy-Indian Perspective.”
Prof. Dr. Chinmay Sekhar Sarakar, the Former Principal of Surendra Nath College, Kolkata premeditated on a topic entitled “Environmental Pollutants Chromosomes and Neurological Disorders”. 

Dr. Arivudainambi Seenichamy, Head of Microbiology and Immunology Unit, Faculty of Medicine, LUC, shared his research findings on “Current Scenario of Leptospirosis in Malaysia”. 
The first session of the seminar came to an end with the presentation on “Study of Cranio-Spinal Anomalies” by Prof. Arun Kumar S. Bilodi, the Head of Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, LUC.
In the second session, Associate Prof. Datin Hafizah Che Hassan, the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Nursing as well as Mr. Abdullah Hagar, Student of LUC presented their research papers.
The seminar was ended with vote of thanks (note) by Dr. Idris Ahmed, the Assistant Organizing Secretary of the Seminar (with all success).
It is envisioned that the key findings of the seminar will promote the efforts of the researchers to encourage cross-border sharing of ideas and best practice.
