Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, President, Lincoln University College (LUC), Malaysia embarked on a significant visit to Jilin Normal University, China on June 6, 2023 and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for academic collaboration.
The meeting featured Principal Yang Xiaotian, who graced the ceremony with his presence and delivered a heartfelt speech. Wu Zhenli, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice Principal, presided over the proceedings, while various department heads from the university attended the event. Principal Yang Xiaotian emphasized their commitment to global cooperation through the “Belt and Road” initiative.
Dr. Bhaumik highlighted LUC’s five-star status, world-class reputation in Malaysia, and its dedication to international development.
During the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions and reached consensus on promoting inter-university exchanges and jointly training master’s and doctoral students and signed the agreement formalizing their partnership.
