Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) signed with Resource Group”s Aviation Technical Training(ATT) Division, UK

Lincoln University College has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Resource Group”s Aviation Technical Training division, UK for Diploma Aircraft Maintenance Engineering program. Resource Group”s Aviation Technical Training division is a UK CAA, EASA Part-147 Approved Aviation Training Organization offering aviation, aerospace, rail, automotive and defense resourcing solutions supporting OEM’s, operators and related support businesses.

The signing ceremony was done in Mayang Campus, LUC on 14.4.2016 (Thursday) between 12.45 pm -1.45 pm. The MOU was signed by Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik Vice Chancellor and CEO, LUC and Ian Fitzpatrick, Managing Director (AIT) in the presence of Mr. Keith, Global Marketing Director, Ms. May Sze, Regional Director, Prof. Datuk Dr Hajjah Bibi Floriana Abdullah, Pro-Chancellor, LUC, Prof. Datuk Dr. Abdul Gani Bin Mohammed Din, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic, Datuk Ir. Ismail Bin Hassan, Dean Faculty of Engineering.

MOU between the two organizations will initially create an EASA Part 66 examination centre in Lincoln University College as a Fully Approved second site under Resource ATT, EASA Part-147 approval and will pave way to access modular training for experienced maintenance staff, seeking EASA Part 66 qualifications and the delivery of Fully Approved EASA Part 66 training courses for new starters to the industry.
