Lincoln University College in collaboration with Kolej Tingkatan Enam Petaling Jaya organized the Professional Learning Community Workshop on 03 September 2016 at LUC,Taman Mayang Campus.The motive of the workshop was to share knowledge and experience with teachers about assessment and evaluation STPM effective, creating a team of professional learning communities through knowledge sharing sessions and experiences of the teachers and creating a culture of professional learning communities among teachers in Petaling Utama.
Prof.Datuk Dr Hajjah Bibi Florina Abdullah, Pro-Chancellor, LUC welcomed the delegates from Pegawai Pendidikan Daerah Petaling Utama and participants of the Program Komuniti Pembelajaran Professional (PLC). Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, Vice Chancellor, LUC, invited the teachers to further study at LUC in Master or PhD. Programmmes. A Brefing by Haji Mansor, Academic Director, on academic matter was delivered regarding the Programmes offered at LUC from Diploma up to PhD
He also highlighted the facilities such as accommodation and fleet transports.
MS Tan Su Tiam (Senior Assistant) on behalf of the Pengetua Kolej Tingkatan Enam Petaling Jaya welcomed the form six Teachers to PLC workshop.
Ms Rusita Bt Sahari from Pegawai Pendidikan Daerah Petaling Utama ( PPD) in the closing ceremony thanked LUC for sponsoring the workshop and urged the teachers to share their knowledge and experience among colleague and friends so that, STPM examination result emerge as champion within other Districts in Selangor.
