The SHIFT International Conference & Winter School, alongside the 9th MTERMS and the European Wellness Academy’s Bio-Regenerative Precision Medicine (SHIFT-MTERMS-EWAS BRPM 2024), convened on February 27, 2024, at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and February 28-29, 2024, at the Komune Living & Wellness Cheras Kuala Lumpur. The event showcased cutting-edge research, developments, and practices in the field of precision medicine and tissue engineering with a focus on bio-regenerative techniques.
The participants from Lincoln University College, Malaysia, Prof. Zarina Zarina Binti Awang (Dean, Faculty of Medicine), Assoc. Prof. Capt (R) Dr. Farid Bin Che Ghazali (Faculty of Dentistry), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Idris Adewale Ahmed (Deputy Dean, Postgraduate Studies, Faculty of Applied Science), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suriyakala Perumal Chandran (Biochemistry Department, Faculty of Medicine), were selected by the Honorable Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Dr. Hajjah Bibi Florina Abdullah, with the main objective of strengthening LUC’s collaborations and research activities.
Overall, the SHIFT International Conference & Winter School, 9th MTERMS, and European Wellness Academy’s Bio-Regenerative Precision Medicine (SHIFT-MTERMS-EWAS BRPM 2024) offered a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and contributed to advancing the frontier of precision medicine in the global healthcare landscape.
