Visit of Deputy Minister Education

YB.P. Kamalanathan, Hon. Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Learning II,
Visited our Lincoln University College, Kelana Jaya(Extended Campus) on 2nd of July 2015 (Thursday) at 4.00 pm.

YB. P. Kamalanathan, is the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia and the Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Learning II. He is a member of the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) in the governing Barisan Nasional coalition.

On his introductory speech he focused on his early life as introduced by Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, Vice Chancellor of Lincoln University College. He has delivered an inspiring speech with his live life experience. He mentioned that he started his work with delivery of food from door to door while working with catering company. But even his struggle for life he continued his study. During his study he cannot able to get A grade in many subjects as he was busy with part time work inspite of study, but he got motivation from his father, he inspired him telling that his name contain 5 A and if added with fathers name then total 9 A is there.
He emphasizes on online study mode for the working individuals so that the person can excel their education while working.
He stated that Lincoln University College is one of the most reputed Private Higher Education providers in Malaysia at present. He mentioned starting with only one program in the year 2002, now Lincoln offering more than 80 programs in different disciplines, namely, Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Computer Science and Engineering including Aeronautical Engineering etc.
Lincoln University College also has international collaborations with different reputed universities all over the world. Lincoln University became one of the Centers of educational excellence in Malaysia.

YB P Kamalanathan, also share his personal experience with meeting with Bhutan minister. He welcomes the teachers who come from Bhutan in Lincoln University College, to attend a short term refresher course on Teachers training.
He met with all staff of Lincoln University College personally and leaves an inspirational message for higher study during work to all.
