1st International Conference on Management and Human Sciences, 2017.

Under the auspices of Conference Honorary President Prof.Datuk.Dr.Hajjah Bibi Florina Abdullah, Pro-Chancellor, Lincoln University College, the 1st International Conference on Management and Human Sciences, 2017, organized by the Lincoln University College, Malaysia, was launched on 15th of July 2017, at the Palace of the Golden Horses. The theme of the conference was “Developing the horizons of scientific cooperation among nations and building research capacities among youth and development leaders”; this was a 3 days conference starting from 15th July 2017 until 17th July 2017.

The opening ceremony of the conference was attended by more than 110 participants from various universities. Prof. Nasser Habtoor, Chairperson of the conference, welcomed the guests and researchers. In his welcome speech he appreciated the research papers presented to the conference and its importance in the development of education as well as research sectors.

In addition, the Vice Chancellor of Lincoln University College, Prof Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, stressed on the importance of the research activities in the development and education of any country, especially Malaysia.

He also focused the direction of Lincoln University College’s educational strategy to support and encourage researchers in order to increase the quality of the University and lead to offer better services to the Malaysian society and other targeted communities. 

Followed by this Professor Dr. Saleh Ali Basurah, the former minister of higher education – Yemen, pointed out the importance of establishing such scientific events in light of the scientific competition witnessed by the world today. He expressed his thanks and appreciations to the Malaysian Government and universities for giving the Yemeni PhD graduates, the opportunity to work at their esteemed universities. 

In addition, he reviewed the stages of the development of higher education in Yemen, where he recommended Yemeni researchers participating in the conference, to contribute towards the academic sector in Malaysia, and to take Malaysia as a pioneer example to achieve peace and peaceful coexistence for development and stability that can be implemented in Yemen in the future. 

His Excellency Mr. Abubacarr Jah the Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Gambia, Mr.Rushid Alkushab, Cultural Attaché  from embassy of Yemen, Dr.Sameer Karshman, Academic Attaché from Embassy of Libya and Mr.Humaid Al Tamimi, Director of Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, UAE embassy preside over the conference. .

The number of articles accepted at the conference was 97, and 112 researchers from different universities from more than 20 nationalities (Malaysia, China, USA, Australia, India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Yemen, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Iran, Oman, Algeria, Jordan, Nigeria, Somalia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippine, Sri Lank, Nepal and Bangladesh) participated .
