CPR training

We are honoured to be with Dr. Azizul Amar Rahmat, Founder and President of CPR Malaysia to share with us about the importance of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). He demonstrated the correct way to perform CPR and Heimslich Maneuver (the technique to save a choking victim). Dr. Azizul Amar and his team shared some valuable tips about fitness, nutrition, things that we do in our lives and everything else under the sun.

In the event of a cardiac arrest, the AED is used to apply electrical shocks that can restore normal cardiac rhythm until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive on site. This training is designed to provide staffs and Public Health Service Officers (i.e. physicians, nurses, those who work in patient contact areas, clinical staff, and Commission Corps) the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. There were several workshops at various places conducted by Lincoln University College, Malaysia for last one year to spread out the light of knowledge among all to save a precious life. When the whole world is threatened to go outside of comfort zone, LUC is constantly looking forward to spread the helping hand of knowledge and education.
