Overview
The Master in medical ultrasound program is designed to develop professional competencies by integrating high level clinical skills, theoretical knowledge. The Masters course focuses on clinical sectional anatomy, ultrasound of abdomen and pelvic organs,echo cardiography, clinical sonography and completes with an advanced case studies practicum. This program equipped students with intensive training in both the theoretical basis of medical ultrasound along with scanning and diagnostic skills. After completing this course student can move into administration, private industry, research, teaching or a highly specialized ultrasound technology field.
Program Aim
The aim of Master in medical ultrasound program is to develop ultrasonographers who can respond to the dynamic needs of the profession, the health service and its users. The Master in Medical Ultrasound program shall produce Sonographers who are:
- Knowledgeable and competent in performing medical ultrasound procedures.
- Efficient in multilevel communication skills and demonstrate good leadership qualities as well as having the ability to work as a team.
- Capable in problem solving through scientific skills with the great values, attitudes and professional ethics.
- Able to practice social skills and responsibilities in community through effective information management and recognize the need of lifelong learning through high impact research and publication

The course will prepare the graduates for Medical Ultrasound, as an area of specialized accreditation, are in charge of healthcare providers, clinical as well as diagnostic operations. They can be employed by hospitals &diagnostic clinics as well.
